For over three decades now, I’ve been on a mission to follow a near inaudible voice in my head that time and again has challenged me to build a masterpiece — the life unrecognizable. After quite some time, I have come to the most important of several realizations: this life can only be elevated to the level of ‘unrecognizable’ by the presence of special individuals in it — individuals just like you. I am very grateful for the opportunity to connect with you and I welcome you to my site.

Born in the Caribbean to a librarian from Jamaica and a minister from Panama, I was the skinny kid with the funny name well before Barack unknowingly stole that distinction from me! The youngest of five (along with my twin brother), I spent half of my childhood traveling overseas, due to my father’s missionary work. We settled in Boston which is where I spent my formative high school years and, to this day, is pretty much where I call home. In my parents’ household, there was room really for only three core values — God, family, and education. My parents by the hook or the crook ensured that we were in church virtually every Sunday, that we attended only the best schools, and that we all stuck together as a family. They put my feet on the path of knowledge and for that I am eternally grateful.

The rest, as is the case for all of us, continues to be up to me.

As a triathlete, I maintain a highly vegan diet and am a huge proponent of health, fitness, and well-being as a lifestyle. I am absolutely fanatical about Latin dance, especially Salsa. Professionally, I followed the path that was set in my childhood and traveled very extensively with my work from San Juan and Caracas to Paris and Amsterdam to name a few cities. Today, I run a successful private equity firm which I co-founded. We have operations in 7 different countries and positively impact the lives of over 6000 employees worldwide. I am also an author and documentary film producer. I reside in New York City, Orlando and Costa Rica.
